CNC Part Identification Labels for Cabinet Production
Part-identification labels help keep production information connected to a component as it moves through a cabinet-manufacturing workflow. The correct label depends on the printer, print method and roll configuration used on the line.
Where labels fit in the workflow
- Print: production data is printed at the labeling station or integrated print engine.
- Apply: the label is applied to the part at the appropriate point in production.
- Identify: operators can use printed information such as part numbers, production references or barcodes when those fields are part of the shop's process.
- Track through production: the labeled part can remain identifiable through CNC, panel-saw, sorting and assembly stages.
Match the media to the printer
Before ordering, confirm whether the printer uses direct thermal media or thermal transfer media with ribbon. Also confirm label dimensions, liner width, core diameter, winding direction, roll diameter and sensor setup.
Current SRD formats
Check printer compatibility or send SRD the machine and roll details for help narrowing the correct option.
